The Basement Cellar is a sophisticated, but free, Wiki style of web-site allowing you to add a variety of data to our shared database. Once you have registered you can write in our blogs. You can store your wine inventory on-line. You can add a winery to our map based database, you can write/publish your own wine review. Our goal is simple: to create the most powerful, map based, wine database in the world!
The Basement Cellar provides:
- An online wine cellar inventory system for managing your collection with no limit to the number of bottles you can enter and automatic aging notifications.
- A virtual tour of wineries around the world. Simply click on the interactive map to explore wineries in any region of the world. If you don't find your favorite winery on the map, you can easily add it and everyone on the site can see it!
- A way for you to manage a list of friends...you can post your review just to them, or even send them all a message!
- A unique publishing model that makes it easy to share your reviews with other members, just your friends, or the public if desired. Of course, you can always keep your notes private.
- A wine blog for networking with other wine enthusiasts. If you don't find a Blog Topic of interest to you, just add it to our site!
- Investment analysis tools.

- Keyword searching, so you can find what you want fast.

It's free to create a new account. Then you can login. Look for the "My Site" menu and you will be able to enter your cellar inventory, write wine reviews, post to our blog area or add a winery to our ever expanding database!
