This file contains the field name and data type for external data loads into The Basement Cellar database. There are a couple of considerations when converting your inventory to our data model. We will use examples to explain. In example one, you have case(s) and bottles of the same wine. You have two choices: 1) Make one inventory record for bottles and another record for cases owned. 2) Convert your cases to bottles and make one record for bottles. In example two, you have bottles of wine that are different sizes, for example, you have three bottles of the same wine, but two are 750ml and one is a magnum. In this case, you should make two inventory records because the attributes we keep about the wine will be different. For example, the price you paid and the expected price will be different.
